Tour “Holodomor: Voices of the Witnesses” for students of grades 8–11

Audience: high school students (grades 8–11) and undergraduate college students

The tour lasts for 45 minutes

During this interactive tour, the visitors learn the history of the Holodomor from the people who lived in 1932 and 1933. It includes photo papers, letters, and stories of the Holodomor eyewitnesses, more than 2000 records of which are stored in the archives of the Museum. This form of presenting the information shifts the process of studying the history of genocide of Ukrainians from theory to the aspect of human relations, and develops more emotional, personal approach to the topic, which is more interesting for the young generation.

The interactive tour costs 80 UAH for a group of up to 5 people, 160 UAH for a group of up to 12 people, 230 UAH for a group of 13 to 20 people. The participants must also buy entrance tickets to the museum.
