The visit of Israeli colleague from Yad Vashem to the Holodomor Victims Memorial

On July 18, 2018, museum staff met with Yehudit Shendar, the Deputy Director of the Yad Vashem (Jerusalem, Israel). Yehudit Shendar arrived in Kyiv for exploring the culture of memory in Ukraine and exchanging of experience with Ukrainian colleagues.

The honored guest visited the National Museum «Holodomor Victims Memorial» for the first time. She was accompanied by former Israelian Ambassador in Ukraine Mrs. Naomi Ben-Ami (2003-2007). The staff of the museum familiarized guests with the history of the Holodomor, conducted an excursion on the territory of the Memorial and shared the experience of working with visitors in various areas of the museum activities.
