Action by members of the “Young Guard of United Russia” in Volgograd

Reading Time: 1 min

Action in support of the criminal war waged by Russia against Ukraine. It was held in Volgograd by members of the “Young Guard of United Russia” (YGUR) – an all-Russian public organsation of the “United Russia” political party. Some of the campaign participants were wearing clothes with the letter Z and the inscription “We do not abandon our own”, others were standing with Russian tricolours.

One of the participants of the action stated that he and his comrades were allegedly “proud of every Russian military man who saves people from the protracted war on the territory of the LPR and DPR”. According to him, the so-called “special operation” should put an end to the “8-year genocide of Russians in Donbas”

At the same time, in the spirit of the propaganda direction chosen by the Kremlin, he draws parallels with the Soviet military, which during the Second World War “drove the Nazis back to Europe.”
