Nikita Mikhalkov is a Russian film director, actor, producer. During Euromaidan and Russia’s occupation of Crimea, he actively supported the aggressor country, Russian Federation.

He claimed that Putin was sent to Russia by God.

After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, he called Russia’s actions a confirmation that it “kept its own dignity, which they tried to deprive it of.” At the height of the war, he accused Ukrainians of Russophobia.
