The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is trying to make the occupiers heroes in the eyes of ordinary Russians. One such example is the story of Sergeant Serhii Yershov. The Russian agency said that he allegedly took command of the group after the commander was seriously wounded and, being wounded himself, pulled the soldier out of the fire.
The Russian Ministry of Defense does not spare heroic details when describing the story: sometimes they “went out under the cover of night and continuous shelling of the enemy”, then “an unequal battle ensued with the superior forces of the enemy”, and then “Yershov, being wounded, destroyed the checkpoint with fire from BPM enemy”. At the same time, it is not mentioned where the other Russian soldiers were, whom he took out from under fire if he himself had to destroy the Ukrainian checkpoint with an injury.
At the same time, in the description of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian military is called exclusively “nationalists”.
