The Russian propaganda machine tries to praise all, even small, “feats” of the occupiers. The invader Oleksiy Zudieiev was praised for allegedly deciding to take a risk during the battle so as not to leave other invaders without fire support. When the Ukrainian military discovered where the mortar fire was coming from and fired back, Zudieiev decided to stay in position and continue firing. It is noted that the mortar attack of the occupiers under his command was allegedly able to inflict losses on Ukrainian soldiers and force them to retreat.
