Russian propaganda posters in support of Russia’s criminal invasion of Ukraine with the inscriptions in Russian “For victory”, “The strength is in truth,” and “The task will be completed”. Such illustrations were created by the Ministry of Defense of Russia and published on its social networks on 2 March 2022.
In fact, this was the first use of the letters Z and V outside of Russian military equipment for propaganda purposes. After that, the active usage of these symbols by propagandists and power structures in the Russian Federation caused a whole wave of imitation among Russians, who began using these letters during their actions in support of the war.
