In Kabardino-Balkaria, children were taught to react to a terrorist attack

Reading Time: 1 min

In the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria in the Russian Federation, students of one of the schools were taught how to properly respond to a terrorist act at school. To do this, they staged an attack by “terrorists” on students. The role of criminals was played by a school security guard, a teacher of social security and a 9th-grade student who broke into the class with assault rifles.

Parents reacted ambiguously to such “enlightenment” among children. The teachers were accused of teaching schoolchildren about mass murder and hostage-taking. The parents wrote a statement to the police regarding this incident and demanded that the school management be held accountable for promoting terrorism.
