The action "Let`s Light a Candle of memory!" was held in the capital of Armenia
On September 7, 2018, officials of the Embassy of Ukraine in Armenia and representatives of the Ukrainian community of Armenia joined the International Action “Let`s light a Candle of memory!”, commemorating the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-1933, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informs.
“During the event, which took place on the basis of the Federation of Ukrainians of Armenia “Ukraine” in Yerevan, the names of the 85 children, dead because of the Holodomor, from the list of millions were announced, as well as a minute of silence was held in order to commemorate the dead, destroyed by the criminal Stalinist regime, a hunger . At the end of the event, the members of the choir “Dnipro” sang a prayer for Ukraine”,- says the message.
To recall, the Action was joined in Beijing.
Also, the Ukrainian community in Jordan honored the victims of the Holodomor-Genocide.
On September 2, 2018, the International action “Let`s Light a Candle of Memory!” was held in Turkey.
On September 1, the action “Let`s light a Candle of Memory!” started at the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial”.
