Researcher of the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide, Dmytro Baikienich, gave an introductory historical lecture on the subject of the Holodomor for 9th grade students.
Students of the Ukrainian College named after V.O. Sukhomlynskyi, Kyiv, listened with interest and supported the discussion.
The event took place in Pavlo Tychyna Library of the Dnipro district of Kyiv.
“The Holodomor is an act of genocide of the Ukrainian people, organised by the leadership of the Soviet Union in 1932-1933. And none of our future generations should forget about it,” the organisers of the event emphasised.
