Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Ukraine visited the Holodomor Museum

The Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Ukraine, Carlo Colonnella, visited the Holodomor Museum. He had a tour, viewed the exhibits, familiarised himself with the register of Ukrainians starved to death, and commemorated those innocently killed during the Holodomor.

Carlo Colonnella also viewed with interest a collection of paintings by Neapolitan artist Sabatino Scia entitled ‘The Genocide of Ukrainians.’ Sabatino Scia donated 21 works of art to the museum depicting dekulakisation, collectivisation, the Holodomor, and life in a totalitarian society.

The guest also paid attention to the materials of the exhibition ‘North Azovian Greeks: Paths of Identity.’ Olha Tsuprykova, co-founder and chair of the NGO ‘North Azovian Greeks: Urums and Roumeans,’ conducted a curated tour of the multimedia exhibition.
