British politician Lord Richard Risby visited the museum

Today, 10 April, our Museum welcomed a distinguished guest, British politician Lord Richard Risby, a member of the Conservative Party in the UK, a member of the House of Lords of the UK Parliament, and co-founder of the Ukraine Modernisation Agency. In 2023, Lord Risby lobbied for the House of Commons to recognise the Holodomor as an act of genocide, and, in 2015, he participated in the opening of the Holodomor Memorial in Washington.

The guest of honour paid tribute to the Holodomor victims by lighting a candle at the Altar of Memory, listened with interest to the guided tour of the Hall of Memory, and spoke with our colleagues.

We are grateful to Lord Risby for his support of Ukraine and his commitment to the topic of the Holodomor. We look forward to meeting again!
