Curatorial tour of the exhibition “Leica that saw the Holodomor”

UPD: Due to high demand, we have closed the registration for the curatorial tour at 15:00 and 15:40. However, we want as many people as possible to see these unique exhibits and therefore open a new form at 17:00 – https://forms.gle/o55rNDckQqnuM9Ny7

On the last day of the exposition of the exhibition “Leica that saw the Holodomor”, we invite you to a guided tour by project coordinator Yana Grynko.

The curatorial tour is a unique opportunity to learn about the details of the creation, distribution and preservation of the world’s most famous Holodomor photos, the originals of which are exhibited in our Museum.

Visitors will be able to see with their own eyes the camera on which these photos were taken and learn all the secrets related to them. These objects belonged to the Austrian engineer Alexander Wienerberger, and they are the world’s most valuable exhibits from the history of the Holodomor. Moreover, the photos are evidence of the commission of the crime and confirmation that, despite the change in the name of the state and its leaders, Moscow’s intentions towards Ukraine have not changed, and the unpunished crime of genocide has found its continuation in current warfare.

When? November 27 at 3:00 p.m

Where? National Holodomor Genocide Museum (Kyiv, Lavrska St., 3).

Entry is free (pre-registration is required)– https://forms.gle/MAZ6tzvbQMZkRsCx9
