A delegation of African media representatives visited the Holodomor Museum today, November 21. They arrived in Kyiv at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to establish connections with the country and gain a deeper understanding of the consequences of the Russian Federation’s armed aggression. The group included journalists from Ghana, Guinea, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, the Republic of South Africa, Senegal, Tanzania, and Chad.
The guests honoured the memory of Ukrainian victims of the Holodomor by lighting candles at the Altar of Memory. Then, they had a tour during which they learned about one of the greatest crimes of the communist regime in the 20th century – the Holodomor genocide.
