Cadets of the Military Institute of Kyiv National University donated creative works on the Holodomor theme to the museum
Cadets of the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (MIKNU) visited the Holodomor Museum today, December 5, and presented 160 drawings on the topic of the genocide of Ukrainians in 1932-1933. The cadets prepared creative works for the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holodomor, which were exhibited during mourning events at the Military Institute. It was then decided to present these drawings to the museum.
The Director General of the Holodomor Museum, Lesia Hasydzhak, thanked the university representative, Vladyslav Bitkovsky, for the patriotic education of the youth and the cadets for their sincere interest in the history of Ukraine and creative understanding of its most tragic page – the Holodomor genocide. After the ceremonial part of the gift, the cadets listened to a tour of the Hall of Memory.
