The Holodomor Museum Participated in Level Up Training Workshop for Tour Guides of Kyiv

The Holodomor Museum participated in a Level Up vol. 3 training workshop for tour guides of Kyiv.

Every year, the Department of Tourism and Promotion of Kyiv City Administration organizes Level Up workshop for  guides to make the city’s tourist services more attractive.

The Holodomor Museum participated in the Level Up vol. 3 training “Improving the quality of tour services and effective interaction between the players of the tour services market in Kyiv”, where the round table “Cooperation of players of the tour services market” was held.

Tour guides, representatives of museums and tourist organizations discussed the terms of cooperation and the organization of excursion services.

To sum up, the representatives of the tourist market signed a joint resolution in which particular attention was paid to the following aspects:

  • improving of cooperation between the Ukrainian Association of Guides and museums of Kyiv;
  • organization of lectures and excursions to the museums to improve the skills of city guides;
  • conducting of appraisals for guides for independent conducting of tours for tourists;
  • increasing the number of guides with knowledge of Oriental languages.
