Canadian Ambassador Natalka Cmoc visited the Holodomor Museum

Today, 25 January, the Holodomor Museum was visited by Canada’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine Ms Natalka Cmoc. She was accompanied by Larysa Radchenko, a senior political expert at the Canadian Embassy. The Acting Director General of the Holodomor Museum, Lesia Hasydzhak, met the guests. They honoured the memory of the Holodomor victims by lighting candles at the Altar of Memory. Then, they learnt the exposition of the Museum and the exhibition “Intent”.

The Ambassador also expressed her desire to inspect the construction of the second phase of the Museum. She visited the construction site and talked to the workers.

In memory of her visit to the Museum, Ms Natalka Cmoc received printed publications about the Holodomor.
