Friends, on the eve of the amendments to the State Budget, the team of the Holodomor Museum wrote an open appeal to support of the continuation of the construction of the second part of the museum.
We truly thank you all for spreading this message and the words of support we have received.
Despite changes to the budget of Ukraine 2020, the program 3801280 “Construction of objects of national importance in the field of culture” (which provides funding for the construction of the second part of the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide and the National Memorial Complex of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred — Museum of the Revolution of Dignity) UAH 100 million have been saved.
Together with the advance payments made at the end of 2019, these funds are enough to ensure that the construction of the Second Phase of the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial” will continur in accordance with the plans approved for 2020.
