November 27 – Holodomor Remembrance Day

Memorial events to honor the Holodomor victims of 1932–1933, the mass man-made famines of 1921–1923, and 1946–1947 will be held at the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide in Kyiv (3 Lavrska Street).

3:30 pm – Prayer for killed by famine with the participation of the heads of Ukrainian churches in the square near the Candle in memory of the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide in Kyiv.

4:00 pm – National minute of silence.

4:01– Address by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Holodomor Remembrance Day. “Light a Candle of Memory” Campaign.

Everyone can join the events. Please keep the restrictive measures: wear personal protective equipment, including protective masks, keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters and take into account the need for vaccination to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
