Dear visitors, teachers, parents, and students! We invite everyone to an online tour around the Holodomor Museum!
This is a unique opportunity to visit the museum just from home, from your school, or from anywhere in the world.
The museum team cares about each visitor, but quarantine restrictions require changes in our work. We made sure that during the virtual visit, the live interaction with the guide was preserved.
The video tour provides a fully immersive experience of the museum atmosphere. You can learn about the history of the Holodomor, watch video chronicles, listen to firsthand accounts from witnesses, and see unique items that are not included in the museum’s main exhibition.
How is a video tour conducted?
The video tour is for students aged 13 and older, as well as adults. It consists of two parts. The first is a video tour of the Holodomor Museum. The second is communication with a museum employee.
In the first part you will be able to
- get to the Holodomor Museum without leaving home;
- learn the causes and mechanisms of the Holodomor;
- understand why the Holodomor is a genocide of Ukrainians;
- learn more about honouring the killed by famine in 1932–1933;
- understand why it is important to preserve the family and national memory of the Holodomor.
The second part takes place in a video conferencing format via the Zoom platform. A museum employee will answer your questions, explain unclear points, and provide additional information.
The total duration of the video tour is up to 45 minutes.
How to book online tour?
To visit the museum online, you need to register in advance (at least three days before).
The video tour is available daily from 10.00 to 18.00.

How much does it cost?
The video tour costs UAH 20 per person; minimal group is 5 people (when booking a tour for a smaller number of participants, payment is made for 5 people).
