A poster about children, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s

A propaganda poster aimed at reassuring Russians about the withdrawal of many foreign companies from the Russian market. The foreign companies started refusing to work in the Russian Federation en masse after the aggressor country launched a full-scale war against Ukraine in February 2022.

In particular, at the beginning of March, McDonald’s left, and at the beginning of June – Coca-Cola. Hundreds more companies joined them. However, it is to these two that the author of the propaganda poster appeals to. At the same time, they try to use children to divert attention from a big problem for the Russian economy and ordinary Russians, pathetically declaring: “The future of our children is more important than Cola and McDak.”

In the publication accompanying the poster, they also appeal to the USSR – saying, “people used to live there without all these modern things, so we will live too.”
