Action in support of the war in Leningrad
A propaganda campaign in support of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. In Leningrad, young people gathered for the rally wearing clothes with the letter Z and the inscription “#СвоихНеБросаем” (English: “We do not abandon our own”), holding in their hands the flags of Russia and the pseudo-republics “DPR” and “LPR”.
The leaders of the propaganda event announced on camera that the alleged task of the Russian occupiers in Ukraine was to “tighten the noose around the neck of fascism”, “stop the 8-year war and horror in Donbas”, as well as “protect their people who are forced to fight for the right to speak their native language” “. At the same time, in the spirit of Kremlin propaganda, the participants of the action generously drew parallels between Russia’s modern war against Ukraine and the Second World War, justifying the crimes of the Russian invaders with the alleged need to “fight the fascists again.”
