Children in the Rostov region were told about the “importance of war”

In one of the schools of the Rostov region in the Russian Federation, activities on “patriotic education among children” were held. The corresponding video appeared on Telegram on 26 November 2022.

One of the commentators on the video stated the necessity to “go and defend one’s homeland” even without coercion and mobilisation. She proudly admits that her husband has already died in the war against Ukraine, but he allegedly became an example for their son.

Primary school teacher Tetiana Volkova, standing next to a crying student – the son of a mobilised occupier, declared the need to explain to children the “importance” of what is happening now.

The third-graders were literally brought to tears during such a “patriotic lesson”. But in the video it is called a “good sign” – they say that children understand what time they live in.

For the video filming, the pupils were also given flags of the Russian Federation and turned on “patriotic music”, encouraging the children to sing along.
