Russian TV presenter Dana Borisova has supported the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine since the first days of the Russian invasion. The relevant post appeared on her social networks on 25 February. She cynically noted that she supposedly loved Kyiv and was worried about the citizens of both states, but she still supported the initiative to conduct the so-called “special operation”. The TV presenter illustrated this publication with photos of her posing on Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square during one of her previous trips to Kyiv.
It is worth noting that Borisova previously participated in many Ukrainian projects on television and often travelled to Ukraine.
At the end of September 2022, Borisova announced she was ready to go to the front as a war correspondent. At the same time, she told the Russian propaganda media that she “lives for a special operation” – she constantly reads news about events at the front and is aware of everything down to the smallest details.
In October 2022, the TV presenter and Putinist criticised Russian stars who left the Russian Federation after the start of a full-scale war against Ukraine. Borisova said that they allegedly “sold their honour”.
