The collection of materials of the International Conference “Man-made Famines in Ukraine of the 20th Century” reveals the prerequisites and causes of the Holodomor of 1932-1933, the mechanisms of its creation, and its consequences. The regional peculiarities of the Holodomor-genocide are considered based on the materials of regional archives and the testimonies of the Holodomor eyewitnesses. Part of the articles of the participants of the international conference is also devoted to the coverage of man-made famines in Ukraine in the 20th century: 1921-1923, 1946-1947.
The authors of the materials are scientists, researchers, and citizens who are interested in establishing the historical truth about the Holodomor.
