Propaganda plot of Russian television about the rally concert “We do not abandon our own!” in the city of Penza. The event was held on September 23, 2022, the day when the aggressor country Russia started fake “referendums” on the inclusion of the occupied territories of Ukraine in the Russian Federation.
Speakers at the event actively talked about how Ukraine allegedly treated Russian speakers badly and considered them “second-rate”. The capture and occupation of Ukrainian territories is called “liberation” in the plot, and it is claimed that the armed occupiers are “protecting” local residents.
The plot, filmed by propagandists of the Russian media holding “Express”, appeared on Telegram on September 23, 2022. At the same time, photos from the event appeared on local Telegram channels, showing the widespread use of symbols from Z and slogans “We don’t abandon our own!” and “Our business is right” (Russian: “Nashe delo pravoe”) by the event participants.
