Letter of Gratitude from Ivan Franko Drohobych State Pedagogical University
Within the framework of the project “Books for 100 Universities and Libraries of Ukraine,” initiated by the Holodomor Victims Memorial in April-June this year, scientific libraries of 80 higher educational institutions of Ukraine of state ownership, the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, 24 regional universal scientific libraries, 76 city and district libraries received about 180 sets of books of the total number of about 9 thousand books.
Our museum has a constant feedback from libraries that have fulfilled their collections with books donated by the Holodomor Victims Memorial.
Recently, a letter from the Ivan Franko Drohobych State Pedagogical University came to the museum’s post.
Dear Olesia Oleksandrivna!
On behalf of the academic community of the Ivan Franko Drohobych State Pedagogical University, we express our sincere thanks for the books donated to our university.
All the literature you donate is a real treasure for students of philology, post-graduate students, literary critics and all those who appreciate the book. This way, attention to the library welcomes and inspires both readers and library staff because new books are always a great event for a wide audience.
In addition, donated literature will be a significant source of fulfilment of a large library collection and will provide invaluable assistance in providing educational studies.
We look forward to our future cooperation in the field of Ukrainian education and science, as we are working on a common issue – the development of our Ukraine.
Sincerely, Director of the Ivan Franko DSPU Library
