National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial” thanked the volunteering guides
During the month, students of the Faculty of History assisted the museum in holding the events devoted to the 85th anniversary of Holodomor
This year, the 85th anniversary of the genocide of the Ukrainian people was commemorated by many events. The museum attracted volunteer students for them to gain the experience of direct work in the museum institution in their field of study, which is the history of Ukraine of the twentieth century. During the month, seven undergraduate students of the Faculty of History of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv helped the museum staff, conducting the excursions for visitors and taking part in the organization of events dedicated to Holodomor.
National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial” is sincerely grateful to Chulak Maria, Bezrukov Vladyslav, Diachenko Sofia, Olabin Stanislav, Stoliarov Anton, Oblovatnyi Bohdan and Dorofeiev Artem for their time and devotion, with which they worked this month.
On December 12, the volunteers gathered in a relaxed atmosphere in the museum to share their experiences, discuss the most interesting moments during volunteering, and also officially receive written recommendations from the museum’s management.
