On October 5, 2018 during the scientific symposium “Women and the Holodomor: Genocide: Victims, Survival, Defamation” at the University of California, there will be presented the exhibition “We Were Killed Because We Were Ukrainians”.
The symposium will be held at the Henry Madden Library (Fresno, California, USA). The exhibition will be presented by Volodymyr Sergiychuk, professor of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. He also will make the lecture “Honor All Innocent Victims of the Holodomor!”.
The exhibition “We Were Killed Because We Were Ukrainians” covers the history of Holodomor, from the reasons for committing this crime, to the process of restoring the truth about Holodomor. The authors of the exhibition focused on evidence of Stalin’s intention to destroy the Ukrainians as the national group.
For recall, on March 13, 2018 this exhibition was presented at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Visitors from different corners of Ukraine and all around the world could see it both in the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial” and in local museums in different regions of Ukraine.
