The Holodomor Museum was visited by opinion leaders from South Africa and India
As part of our cooperation with PEN Ukraine, guests from South Africa and India visited the Holodomor Museum on Tuesday, April 30.
Writers, journalists, and opinion leaders arrived in Ukraine within the framework of the In Solidarity With Ukraine program. Including:
▪️ Lawyer and reservist policeman, author of seven novels and two non-fiction books about his experience of service in the South African police – Andrew Brown (South Africa);
▪️ Journalist and analyst-freelance – Peter Fabricius (South Africa);
▪️ Author of nine books, winner of the Booker Prize (2021) – Damon Galgut (South Africa);
▪️ Writer, journalist, scholar and TV presenter – Anjan Sundaram (India).
During a tour of the Hall of Memory, guests learned more about the Holodomor genocide that occurred in Ukraine in 1932-1933 during the Soviet totalitarian regime.
