The National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memorial” Handed Over the Books to the Libraries of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi
On May 13, 2019, Municipal Enterprise “Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Centralized Library System” received the books of educational and patriotic project “Books for 100 Universities and Libraries of Ukraine.” Within the framework of this project, the Holodomor Victims Memorial, initiated by the National Museum, together with the All-Ukrainian Human Rights Protection Organization “Memorial” named after Vasyl Stus and Omelyan Kovch NGO handed over sets of books on the history of Ukraine, including those on the genocide of the Ukrainian people – the Holodomor of 1932–1933 (a total of about 45 copies).
All these books are rare editions, encyclopedic literature which was published not for sale. They reveal the truth about the Holodomor, genocide of the Ukrainian nation. Books have a patriotic Ukrainian orientation, are designed to fight for consciousness of, first and foremost, the youth who forms the national Ukrainian elite.
