FOR REFERENCE

Milena Rudnytska (1892-1976) was a public and political figure and ambassador to the Polish Sejm from 1928-1935. In 1933, she became the deputy head of the Public Committee for the Rescue of Ukraine, created after Andrey Sheptytskyi’s pastoral message “Ukraine in the throes of death.” To a large extent, it was thanks to her efforts that the issue of the Holodomor in Ukraine was brought before the League of Nations.
