The British Defence Minister honoured the memory of the Holodomor victims during his visit to the USA

During his visit to the United States, the Minister of Defence of Great Britain, Grant Shapps, honoured the memory of the Holodomor victims of 1932-1933 in Ukraine. He announced this on the social network.

“90 years ago, millions of Ukrainians died in a genocide engineered by the Soviet Union. Now, the lives and livelihoods of millions of Ukrainians are again under threat.- he wrote.- I laid a wreath at the Holodomor memorial for those lives lost and those defending Ukraine’s freedom today.” Grant Shapps wrote under the photo.

The commemoration ceremony with the participation of Mr. Grant Shapps took place in Washington, near the memorial to the victims of the Holodomor.
