The state of Wyoming became the 32nd state to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA, Oksana Markarova, announced this on Facebook.
She also added that this state declared November as the month of remembrance of the Ukrainian Holodomor genocide.
“Thank you to Wyoming governor, Mark Gordon, for his solidarity with Ukraine,” the Ambassador wrote.
It should be recalled that earlier three states – Washington, Maryland and Arizona joined the recognition of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people and declared November as the month of remembrance of the Ukrainian Holodomor.
