An official from Buryatia blames Ukraine

Propaganda publication of the head of Buryatia, Oleksii Tsydenov, in which he accused Ukraine of Nazism, thereby justifying Russia’s criminal invasion of our country. The note on the social network appeared on 22 June 2022 and referred to the day the Soviet-German war began. In the text of the publication, Tsydenov started to draw parallels between Nazi Germany during the Soviet Union time and modern Ukraine. In the spirit of Kremlin propaganda, the head of Buryatia declared that “today Nazism came to the land of the brotherly Ukrainian people.”

And to make the Kremlin’s propaganda voiced by him seem even more believable, he also began to draw parallels between then and today’s Europe. He said that in the 1940s, the USSR had been able to overcome a “united Europe”, and today, it seems to be “fighting with a united Europe.”
