Putin justified the genocide of Ukrainians during a speech in Luzhniki
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin performed at the “Crimean Spring” concert at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on 18 March 2022 in honour of the eighth anniversary of the annexation of Crimea. During this speech, he tried to explain the goals of the so-called “special military operation” (actually, a full-scale war) against Ukraine by the fact that the Russian Federation is allegedly trying to protect Donbas in this way.
Putin, whose troops bomb peaceful Ukrainian cities and brutally kill civilians, cynically accused Ukraine of shelling Donbas, thus trying to justify his criminal full-scale invasion of the territory of a sovereign and independent state.
A video with a part of the speech, where Putin’s corresponding statement is heard, was made public on the Telegram channel of the Russian propaganda TV channel RT on 18 March 2022.
