The museum library replenished with a new edition
Our museum library has been replenished with a new valuable publication – the collection “International Recognition of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as Genocide of the Ukrainian People”. It was created with the assistance of the State Enterprise “General Directorate for the Service of Foreign Representations” and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The collection includes documents regarding the recognition of the Holodomor as an act of genocide of the Ukrainian people and commemoration of the Holodomor victims, adopted by the parliaments and local authorities of the countries of the world and international organisations. The collection also contains resolutions of the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and national parliaments regarding war crimes, crimes against humanity and crimes of genocide committed by the Russian Federation during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The publication was presented at the end of November with the participation of the Ambassador for Special Assignment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Ostash, the General Director of the SE “Directorate General for Rendering Services To Diplomatic Missions “, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Envoy of the second class Pavlo Kryvonos, the Deputy Director General (with the appointment of the Acting Director General) of the Holodomor Museum Lesia Hasydzhak, as well as the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe Borys Tarasiuk.
