The publication “Holodomor: Main Facts” has been translated into Romanian
It has become even easier to talk about the Holodomor in Romanian: our brochure “The Holodomor: Main Facts” has now been translated into Romanian. The publication is freely available on our website. Anyone interested can download the layout free of charge, print it out and distribute it for educational purposes.
Yurii Martyniuk translated the text into Romanian, and Arina Banar and Olha Rusu edited it. We are sincerely grateful to them for their professional work!
As a reminder, as part of the international project ‘Truth is Nearby’, which aims to convey historical truth to foreigners in their native language, museum researchers Mykhailo Kostiv and Andrii Kozytskyi prepared the publication ‘Holodomor: Main Facts’. The book concisely presents the most important historical facts about the Soviet occupation of Ukraine and the crime of genocide committed by the Russians against the Ukrainian people in 1932–1933.
The brochure is available in Ukrainian, English, German, and French ( you can purchase it at the Museum ticket office or online – see the “Support the Museum” section). Translations into Modern Greek, Spanish, Serbian, Turkish, Bulgarian, Swedish and Danish are also available on our website.
