Children's Art Contest "MEMORY OF THE FUTURE"
The National Museum “Holodomor victims’ Memorial” announces the Children’s Art Contest “MEMORY OF THE FUTURE” to the 86th anniversary of Holodomor of 1932-33 in Ukraine. The project was launched to commemorate Holodomor victims. His mission is to disseminate knowledge about the tragic pages of our country’s history, prevent the happening of the crime of genocide, promote self-identification, protect human rights, combat discrimination and violate human rights.
Competition topics:

• “Memory of the country – memory of the family”
• “Legacy – Spirit and Power”
• “Human rights – the people’s right”
• A free theme that meets the idea of the project
The competition will be held in nominations for three age categories: from 6 to 9, from 10 to 13, from 14 to 17 years.
Prize fund of the contest is 10 000 UAH.
Techniques and genres of works: drawing, painting, graphics, pictorial, poster, application, collage, page board (pictorial history), computer graphics and any other technique of a two-dimensional image.
To participate in the Competition it is necessary to submit an electronic application by July 1, 2019, by filling out the Registration Form or by posting an e-mail [email protected] in accordance with the conditions specified in the Contest Regulations.
Date of the opening of the exhibition and the awarding of the winners – November 5, 2019 at the address: Lavrska St., 3, the National Museum “Holodomor victims’ Memorial”, Kyiv.
