A representative from the US Embassy in Ukraine visited the museum

On 15 April, Jonas Stewart, Counsellor for Public Affairs at the US Embassy in Ukraine, visited the Holodomor Museum. The guest paid tribute to the Holodomor victims by lighting a candle at the Altar of Memory, then toured the Hall of Memory and met with the Museum’s Director General, Lesia Hasydzhak. Mr Stewart expressed interest in the construction of the Museum’s second phase and inspected the building site. As a memento of his visit, the guest received books on the Holodomor published by our Museum.
