Interactive lesson “History of One Diary” for students of grades 9–11
Audience: students of grade 9–11.
The lesson lasts for 50 minutes.
The aim of the lesson is to teach students to work with archival sources, sources of personal origin (diaries), visual sources (photos); to deliver the knowledge about main aspects of the Bolshevik policy (processes of collectivization and dekulakization), and the situation of Ukrainian farmers in 1930–1933 (especially during the Holodomor genocide of 1932–1933) through the memoirs of Oleksandra Radchenko, the teacher from Kharkiv region.
Goals of the lesson:
- to teach the students to analyze historical documents;
- to teach critical thinking, create personal attitude to history and understand its lessons;
- to develop historical thinking.

The interactive lesson costs 230 UAH for a group of up to 5 people, 600 UAH for a group of up to 12 people, 900 UAH for a group of 13 to 20 people. The participants must also buy entrance tickets to the museum.
