On 16 July, the Holodomor Museum will host a lecture “Understanding and Support. How to communicate with the military who returned from the war”.
A military psychologist, PhD in Psychology, veteran Oleksii Karachynskyi will discuss this relevant and crucial topic. The lecture will focus on understanding the potential impact of war on a veteran’s personality and, as a result, their transformation.

During the meeting, you will also learn about:

  • rules of communication with veterans in private and public space;
  • prohibitions in communication;
  • how to respond to traces of injuries and mutilations;
  • how to make it clear to a veteran that he or she should seek help in an environmentally friendly way.
