Ambassador of Canada Natalka Cmoc and her colleagues visited the Holodomor Museum
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Ukraine, Natalka Cmoc and her colleagues visited the Holodomor Museum. The guests were welcomed by Lesia Hasydzhak, Director General of the Holodomor Museum. They listened to a curatorial tour of the multimedia exhibition “The North Azovian Greeks: Paths of Identity.” At the end of the tour, Olha Tsuprykova, co-founder and chair of the NGO “North Azovian Greeks: Urums and Roumeans,” presented Ms Natalka Cmoc with a “Psatyr,” a traditional Easter bread of the North Azovian Greeks, which resembles a cross and a crown of thorns in shape. In 2025, the tradition of making psatyr by the North Azovian Greeks was added to the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine.
In addition, the visitors viewed the exhibition in the Hall of Memory and listened to a guided tour.
