An Evening of Remembrance for the Holodomor Victims was held in the city of Victoria (Canada)
The Holodomor Remembrance Evening was held in Victoria (Canada) on November 23, 2024. The solemn events were organised by the Board of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress with the support of the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide and its Director General Lesia Hasydzhak.
During the event, the opening of the exhibition “The Uncondemned Genocide of Ukrainians Repeats” took place, and attendees could take a virtual tour of the Museum and listen to a video address by Lesia Hasydzhak.
The Ukrainian Canadian Congress expressed its gratitude to Lesia Hasydzhak and the Museum team: “Thanks to your support, we were able not only to pay tribute to the Holodomor victims but also once again to remind everyone present of the importance of memory, which is a force in our struggle. We believe that preserving the truth about these tragedies unites us in faith in the Ukrainian victory and the establishment of its independence.”
