The Holodomor Museum has launched the project “History Preserved in Digital Format” as a part of the grant program for digitizing cultural heritage from the House of Europe. The project aims to digitize items from the museum fund collection: paintings, graphics, posters, clothing items, tablecloths, towels, napkins, and rugs. Additionally, during the project, it is planned to digitize audio cassettes with the memories of Holodomor eyewitnesses, which are unique evidence of the crime of genocide of Ukrainians.

The European Union, under the “House of Europe” program, supports the project “History Preserved in Digital Format”. For our Museum, this is a crucial project that aims to preserve and promote museum items that tell the story of the Holodomor.

The digitized items are planned to be placed on the Register of the Museum Fund of Ukraine resource, which is essential for the preservation and popularization of cultural heritage, ensuring proper accounting and protection of museum items, and combating the illegal circulation of cultural values.
