The selection of candidates for the Museum’s Expert and Supervisory Boards has been extended until 11 January.

The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine has extended the application period for candidates to join the Expert and Supervisory Boards of the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide until 11 January. The new deadline for submitting candidate proposals is 11 January 2026, 23:59.

The Ministry invites Ukrainian and international institutions to join in forming the bodies that will determine the strategic development of the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide.

As a reminder:

The Expert Board is a permanent consultative and advisory body that coordinates the Museum’s research activities. The term of office for members is five years.

The Board will consist of:

  • Six experts and/or scholars nominated by Ukrainian public associations and research institutions;
  • Six experts and/or scholars nominated by international organisations, international non-governmental organisations or foreign research institutions.

The Supervisory Board is a special body that oversees the activities of the Museum and its officials. The term of office for members is five years (without the right to hold office for two consecutive terms).

The Supervisory Board will consist of:

  • Six members proposed by Ukrainian public associations;
  • Six members proposed by international organisations, international non-governmental organisations or public organisations of Ukrainians abroad.

All candidates are required to have an impeccable business reputation, high public authority and be recognised experts in their field.
