We are looking for experts to conduct an expedition

Tenders have been announced for the procurement of services for our expedition to record witnesses of the Holodomor of 1932–1933 and the mass man-made famine of 1946–1947. Please see below for details and conditions provided by our partners.

Request for proposals (RFP 006) for professional video and photo documentation services for the expedition

The project ‘Support to the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide in Ukraine’, implemented by Cowater International Inc. in partnership with the Canada-Ukraine Foundation and funded by Global Affairs Canada, announces a tender for the provision of transportation services.

Task: provision of two minivans for cross-regional transportation with drivers. Capacity of each vehicle: 6–8 passengers, with sufficient space for storing personal belongings. Period of operation: from September to November 2025. The approximate route covers various parts of Ukraine, with a total mileage of up to 21,000 km.

Requirements for contractors:

a licence for passenger transport and relevant experience;
technically sound vehicles with appropriate equipment and insurance;
drivers with experience in intercity travel and a willingness to work flexible hours.
*The cost of services must include fuel.

Request for proposals (RFP 007) for the provision of accommodation and catering services for the expedition

The project ‘Support for the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide in Ukraine’, implemented by Cowater International Inc. in partnership with the Canada-Ukraine Foundation and funded by Global Affairs Canada, announces a tender for the provision of accommodation and catering services for participants in a mobile expedition.

Implementation period: September to November 2025

Comfortable accommodation is needed for two expedition groups working in different regions of Ukraine, with the capacity to accommodate up to 8 people in single rooms. The provision of three meals a day is required. Priority will be given to hotels that offer shelter, internet access, a convenient location, and breakfast. Meals must consider dietary requirements and include options for lunch boxes, as well as water and light snacks if necessary.

Suppliers with proven experience in organising similar services, who are ready to work with flexible logistics and provide full reporting, are invited to participate.

Request for proposals (RFP 008) for professional video and photo documentation services for the expedition

The project ‘Support for the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide in Ukraine’, implemented by Cowater International Inc. in partnership with the Canada-Ukraine Foundation and funded by Global Affairs Canada, announces a competition for the provision of professional photography and video services as part of a documentary expedition dedicated to oral testimonies about the Holodomor.

Implementation period: September to November 2025

Duration of work: up to 60 days of participation in the expedition + up to 30 days for processing materials

They are expected to support research teams in creating a high-quality visual archive, including full-format photo and video recordings of interviews, behind-the-scenes materials, and contextual footage. All materials must meet technical, ethical and artistic standards and be suitable for further editing into documentary products.

Experts with relevant experience and equipment, who are ready to work in the field, are invited to participate.
