A monument to the Holodomor victims was damaged in a village in the Kharkiv region

In the Kharkiv region, in the village of Myrolyubivka, Loziv district, unknown persons destroyed the monument to the victims of the Holodomor, installed at the local cemetery. The police of the Kharkiv region reported. The attackers also damaged more than 10 tombstones.

Police officers are identifying the unknown persons involved in the act of vandalism. Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 297 (Insult over a grave, other place of burial or over the body of the deceased) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
