Memory Candle Was Lit in Dubai

On September 14, 2018, Ukrainians living in the United Arab Emirates, joined the “Candle of Light” Action on commemoration of the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor, is reported on the Internet resource of the World Congress of Ukrainians dedicated to the Action.
The event was organized by the Ukrainian Club in Dubai. Participants of the action mentioned the terrible events of the Holodomor-genocide and commemorated the victims of the Holodomor with a minute of silence. The names of 85 children killed during the Holodomor were read at the event.

On September 11, the marathon of the “Lets lit a candle of memory” campaign was accepted by Uzbekistan.
On September 10 The action was held in Kazakhstan.
On September 9 The action was held in Azerbaijan.
On September 8 The action was held in Australia, Belarus and Senegal.
On Sept. 7 Action “A candle of light was lit!” was held in Armenia and Mozambique.
Also, the action was joined in Beijing.
The Ukrainian community in Jordan honored victims of the Holodomor-Genocide.
On September 2, 2018, the International action “Lets Lit A Candle of Light” was held in Turkey.
On September 1, the action “Lets Lit A Candle of Light” began at the National Museum “Holodomor Victims Memoral”
