North Carolina recognized Holodomor of 1932-1933 as the genocide of the Ukrainian people

The American state of North Carolina has recognized Holodomor of 1932-1933 as the genocide of the Ukrainian people. It was reported in the press service of the Ukrainian embassy in the United States.
“North Carolina, in the person of the governor of the state Roy Cooper, officially joined the commemoration of the 85th anniversary of Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine and recognized this tragedy as the genocide,” – reported in the message.
Recall, Virginia has joined the official commemoration of the 85th anniversary of Holodomor.
